Kim & Matt Clendenin R. Gregory Jewelers

Kim's dad Rick had the vision to start his own jewelry store in his hometown of Statesville, after working for and running multiple stores for a chain. he decided he could better serve the community as the finest store on his own, and that became a reality in 1981. Kim has been in the store since she was born but actually working for the past 24 years. Kim and Matt married in 2002, and in 2004 Matt joined the business when Rick saw he had some of the same qualities as himself. And thought the two would make a good team. They have been so fortunate to be able to carry on his legacy, continue to build on the relationships that Rick built, and build their own new relationships as well. Kim and Matt have continued the tradition of traveling to Antwerp Belgium the Diamond capital of the world to hand-select diamonds direct from the cutters and their favorite part is working with customers before their trips and being able to select the stone they have dreamed of and bringing it back and exceeding their expectations. They also love sitting with clients and creating jewelry from their personal heirlooms or starting from scratch and creating a heirloom to be treasured for years to come.
