About Us

After working in the industry for over 10 years, my father, Rick, saw a need for a store that carried high quality merchandise and gave the highest quality customer service. He envisioned a store unique to this area, one that offered one of a kind creations and unique designer lines all at prices to fit any budget. His goal was that there everyone would feel welcome and proud to refer their friends and family. All of this was realized in 1981 when the doors to R. Gregory Jewelers first opened.

This vision has lead us to many exciting events, travels, and firsts for Statesville. We have been able to take buying trips around the world to seek out designers who are unique and pride themselves on excellence and pieces of unequaled fashion. We have hosted diamond cutters and even the divers who found the Atocha shipwreck, just to name a few. I have had the opportunity of learning from my dad and seeing his vision played out, and our family has seen our "customers" evolve into family.

My mother, Pam, my husband, Matt, and myself have the pleasure of carrying on the vision Dad started years ago. We value each customer and look forward to welcoming you into our family. We are excited to see what the future holds at R. Gregory Jewelers.
